Reviews for IONA Physiotherapy:
I had very bad pack pain in my second trimester of pregnancy. I could barely walk when I had my first appointment with Ciara. She gave me some exercises and tips on how to work from home which I followed religiously. After 4 sessions my back pain was nearly gone. I can now walk 20km/day without any issues and fully enjoy my third trimester. Very practical advice and extremely professional. – Nadejda D.
A few weeks ago I had really bad back pain. I was hardly able to move. Getting into and out of bed was impossible.I could not even put on my own shoes and socks. At one point I was walking only with a walking stick. I attended Iona physio and David was wonderful. Through physiotherapy he really loosed up the back and identified that the problem was coming from the right hip. With a the exercise routine which he gave me I really began to move again. – William D.
I have just finished a course of treatment in Iona Physiotherapy for elbow and arm pain. Ciara very quickly identified the root cause of the problem and over the weeks assigned a number of exercises to deal with it. She could not have been more professional, clearly has tremendous knowledge of current developments and it was very encouraging to see the improvement as the sessions progressed. I am delighted with the work done by Iona Physiotherapy and would have no hesitation in recommending them. – Gabriel K.

I struggled with my knee for a quite long time and I saw a few physiotherapists before I met David. After a correct diagnosis I was assigned with exercise (all exercises were explained during the session & available online via video platform) and rolling routine and it seems it works pretty well as I can hike and run pain-free again! – Anna B.
My doctor recommended David & the team at Portobello physio to treat back pain from working from home. David provided in depth instructions and exercises specifically tailored to me which cleared up my pain in less than two weeks. They have been a fantastic help, thanks again! – Sara M.
Just finished a successful course of treatment with Brendan, so happy to be back to normal exercise again after my hip and ankle injuries. He was very thorough, friendly and professional. Best physio’s in Dublin by far. Always quick to fit you in when the body is in need of some attention. Been going to Paul for a few years now and thankfully I only have to see him a few times a year as he is so good with his treatment. Highly recommend these guys. – Darren S.
Best physio service in town. If it’s good enough for the Dublin senior football team, it’s good enough for me! (even if Antrim are really the best team in the country) – Michael F.

Reviews for South Dublin Physical Therapy:
I first attended Brian over a year ago when my GP was recommending surgery for severe back issues. I couldn’t drive / walk. Within weeks Brian had me up and about and pain free. I have continued to see him for “maintenance” every couple of months. I recently overdid it and was back in pain. He was my only call, he has since worked his magic again and I’m up and about and off pain killers! He is the only person I would trust with my back. I can’t recommend him enough. – Tara M.
I attended Ben in South Dublin Physical Therapy with neck pain which I thought was from working from home and bad posture. But Ben correctly assessed that I had a injury from coming of my bike. He treated it with a number of different methods which worked extremely well and was sorted in a few visits. Very relaxed easy going atmosphere not looking to prolong treatment or have unnecessary visits. Happy to recommend and will use again if needed. – Ian C.
I brought my 9 year old son to Brian for physical therapy on his leg. It is clear that Brian is both passionate and extremely knowledgeable about what he does. Brian not only treated my son, but also diagnosed a condition and referred me onto a consultant for further treatment. He has a great manner when dealing with children. He also has been very flexible for us, taking an appointment over Zoom during the COVID 19 crisis. I felt the need to leave a review here, as I myself have visited many physio & physical therapists over the years, but Brian has been by far the most impressive. I would strongly recommend his services to anyone seeking physical therapy. – Mark O.

I had a neck problem with a disc protruding giving me huge discomfort. My Doctor said there was nothing they could do but surgery, which may not work. I researched myself and found DC physiotherapy. Dave was amazing he talked me through the procedure and after a number of sessions, I was back in the gym and playing basketball again. A totally amazing result. Dave was so knowledgeable and I have never looked back. Had one or two maintenance session since, but all is perfect now. Could not recommend him highly enough. – Michael L.
I had a knee issue that needed fixing. Robbie, listened, and went through everything with me. After a few session along with the ‘lovely’ exercises I am now pain free. In between my knee sessions my back went into spasam, David was very quick to have me back in to see Robbie who worked his magic on my back also. Highly professional. All my aches and pains will be dealt with properly from now on. – Helen K.
I developed a lower back injury while working from home and decided to go see a physio as I was not able to do simple tasks such as putting my socks in the morning. I was in constant pain. Super happy with my experience at Peak Physio in Ballsbridge. Friendly staff and was seen by Sarah who is an excellent professional therapist. I was recently referred to Physio due to reoccurring severe neck pain which was preventing me from carrying out normal daily activities and impacting on my work. Sceptical due to previous poor experiences with Physios, I wasn’t expecting much. However thanks to the patience and perseverance of Sarah guiding me through Physio its been a night and day change. It was and continues to be a process but I have gone from very limited movement in my neck and constantly taking medication to get through the day to function, to having full range of motion in my neck and being virtually pain free most days. Very grateful for all the help Sarah provided during this period and would highly recommend her and Peak Physio for anyone requiring Physio. – David C.
My daughter was struggling with pain in her shoulder and it was effecting her GAA. We went to Shane Fishman at Peak Physio, after a few weeks of his exercise plan she was back playing her sport pain free. I would highly recommend Shane and Peak Physio! – Carla D.

Danielle Moran has been a saviour in fixing my back pain. I was in a very bad way with my lower back, I could barely walk myself to the practice! Only 5 sessions later and I have the spring back in my step. Danielle is a wealth of knowledge and extremely talented in physiotherapy. Very grateful to Danielle for helping me get back to full time exercise. Absolutely 5* – Claire.
